The Nitty Gritty
- Non-refundable retainer fee of 30% is due to secure your session. The remaining balance is due 72 hours prior to your session. Session will be cancelled if balance is not paid within 48 hours of your scheduled time.
- Prices are valid for locations within 20 miles of 29210. Travel fees of $0.575 per mile apply for locations outside of that area.
- Print release allows you to print unlimited images FOR PERSONAL USE and post to social media.
- Prints are available a la carte. On-site 4x6 prints are $5 per print.

How do I book a session?
Use the “Ready to start your story?” button at the top of the page to submit an inquiry. I’ll follow up within 1–2 business days to confirm details and next steps.
How long does a session last?
Mini sessions are about 30 minutes, while full portrait or family sessions typically last 1–1.5 hours. Event coverage is booked by the hour. Every session is tailored to your needs, so we’ll talk through timing before your shoot.
How many photos will I receive?
Mini sessions include 5 edited images. Portrait, family, and adult sessions come with up to 20 edited images. Event sessions are delivered hourly at 20 images per hour, with your full gallery available in The Vault Collection for selection.
Can I share my photos online?
Yes! I encourage sharing on social media, but please do not add filters or AI-generated edits to the images. All clients receive a print release with their edited photos.
What should I wear / how should I prepare?
Keep it simple, timeless, and true to your style. Avoid busy patterns or logos, and choose colors that complement each other if you’re shooting with a group. I also provide prep tips for hair, makeup, and posing in your session confirmation email.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Life happens! Mini sessions can be rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance. Full sessions and events require 72 hours notice. Retainers are non-refundable but can be applied to a future date if notice is given.
When will I get my photos?
Edited images are delivered within 2–3 weeks for mini sessions and 3–4 weeks for full sessions or events. You’ll receive a private gallery link for your Vault Collection to select your images for retouching.
How do we choose the best location for our session?
I love helping clients pick locations that match their style, personality, and session type. Whether it’s outdoor spots in Columbia, SC, a favorite park, or your home, we’ll collaborate to make sure your photos feel personal and timeless.
What happens if the weather isn’t ideal for an outdoor session?
Don’t stress! I monitor forecasts closely and can reschedule outdoor sessions if rain or severe weather is expected. Flexibility ensures your photos come out perfect, no matter what Mother Nature has in mind.
